One article posted on  yahoo news that I thought was not necessarily interesting but more so completely different compared to the freedom in our lives. The article relates to censorship because Beijing demands the registration of all names for blog posters. To me the obvious implications of this action is so Beijing and government officials have more information on potential negative content towards China. This country of course has its own censorship through the internet, which has caused major debate with other companies for instance Google. However, this article shows a mere shadow of censorship. Because of the types of restrictions put on the internet surfing the web would be completely different with specific information only being fed. One of the most important roles the internet plays is in its way for users to access endless amounts of information. The freedom on this information is so important to creating and developing your own opinions. How do you think censorship would change your life? Living under those circumstances would be completely different.
